Where did you grow up?
I grew up in the pretty little city of Mangalore amidst beautiful beaches and lush green foliage.
I’m currently studying Journalism and intend to do my Masters in Fashion Studies.I wanted to graduate with a degree in Fashion Communications, because more than designing using fashion as a communication tool fascinates me! However, there is only one college in the country that offers that course. In spite of a year long struggle, it didn’t work out for me. I haven’t let that bother me and I am working towards becoming a Creative Director. *Hopefully Fingers Crossed!
You have lovely hair, a particular hair care tip you’d like to share?
I’m honestly flattered to have received that compliment because I never really thought I did. But, I do try and take care of it to tame it and to be able to manage it better. I do oil my hair and a quick massage before I shower, and I’m not lying when I say that it helps. Also, a scented hair serum is a must.
If you have to suggest a simple makeup routine that wouldn’t take more than 10 minutes in the morning, what would it be?
Well, I do not use a lot of makeup on a daily basis, so it hardly takes ten minutes to get done with my everyday makeup routine. Some days I go with bold lips and mascara and the other days classic winged liner with a little lip gloss. Also, a sunscreen with good SPF I will recommend.
How do you describe your sense of style and have you seen it evolve?
My style is a concoction. I say so because, you will spot me in stacked gypsy jewelry one day and the next I’ll be a thorough minimalist and the third I’ll be playing it cool with my boyfriend jeans and beanie! It’s about getting out of my comfort zone and evaluating how I can play with my styling sensibilities.
There are days when I feel like sporting a partial head shave, etching tattoos and getting my septum pierced. And at the same time, I want to have long beautiful hair, wear pencil skirts and look elegant. So evolution is a given. When I go back and look at my first few blog posts I realize how much I’ve changed with time and luckily It’s a good change haha!
Lastly! Four songs you are currently hooked on to.
