MeMore a quaint little cosy store in Bandra .Started of just like any good store starts off for the love of pretty clothes. However Shruti and Swabhi didn’t want this to be a regular story so they decided to add a bit of a story behind all the stuff they sell.A lot of cotton fabric is exported from India to places around the world .Foreign brands turn the fabric into a piece of garment and send it back to India.We have all seen the Made In India tag for a garment that arrived from overseas and always feel a bit betrayed . It could have just been here because the garment saw places probably you and I haven’t we land up paying a heavy price.Shruti and Swabhi decided to scout for export quality cotton and convert them into beautiful pieces.They make colorful dresses , dhothi’s ,jackets ,skirts . Apart from clothes the store also houses quirky lighting accessories , broaches , headgear’s, bags .Make sure you ask them for a story behind the fabric when you happen to pick something from the store.

It was a real pleasure hanging out with the 2 girls and listen to their MeMore story. They travel all around India to score some incredible fabric . I cannot think of a better job to do plus doing it with a very dear friend .For those of you in Mumbai make a trip to Badra you’ll love the store and the pretty girls behind the counter.
