Where did you grow up?

I grew up in Calcutta

Has Calcutta influenced your sense of style?

Calcutta is a very laid back city, in general. It moves at its own  pace and people are known to be laid back. I once wore a pair of ugly looking floaters to a nightclub, with a loose t-shirt and denims, when I was in high school, and nobody seemed to care. The don’t care attitude of mine has definitely been influenced by Calcutta. Therefore I end up dressing up in basics mostly, which could also be termed as lazy dressing.

Can you describe your style ?

I’m the white-Converse, no-accessories kinda girl. On most days I look very vagabond. If I’ve to describe my style, I think it would lean towards 90s and punk.

Any advice on hair and colour, also tell us how you coloured your hair, yourself ?

I’m actually terrible with giving advice. I don’t really take care of my hair that much. Don’t remember the last time I oiled it, even. But gelatin is good occasionally, especially if your hair’s coloured, and a combination of milk and honey works like magic to make it smoother.
My friend, Sangeetha, has insanely cool hair. I saw it on her and I immediately wanted it! So she coloured my hair for me — from scratch — mixing to bleaching to colouring. I’m finally getting a hang of it, but she definitely does a better job. Besides, my hair is really long, and I feel supremely guilty about putting her through the ordeal every time I want to colour my hair. It takes a hell lot of effort and time for her to do hers and mine!

Four songs you are currently listening to?

Patience — Guns N’ Roses
Black Betty — Spiderbait
Grizzly Bear — Angus and Julia Stone
Mind Mischief – Tame Impala
