Meet Devika Bharadwaj the girl behind Shoe Stopper. Shoe stopper, Devika says was started with an aim of weaving fashion and art together. Fabulous hand paintings on shoes, totes and ties is what she started off with. She aims to expand into clothes and customizing almost anything that can be painted upon. She is currently excited about her new stock which has been painted by kids who are differently abled. Devika plans on starting to work with dying Indian art forms.

I was quite excited to listen to what she plans on doing in the future. We chatted about it at length over chai’s and smoothies. Which is exactly when she suggested this location situated very close to the cafe we were hanging out at. A very interesting discovery I must add. More on this soon.
