3 blissful days of beaching around on the beaches of Goa. Gorged on some incredible food.Lazed like a cat in the sun. Hoped flea markets. Was lucky enough to have timed the trip well was able to catch 2 flea markets on a Saturday The Arpora and the Mackies night markets . I randomly stumbled upon these places during dusk and realized that’s the best time you should visit a flea market if some thrifting is on mind .The secret is the stall owners sell there stuff at throw away prices when the stalls are still being set up. What cost me a mere 250 bucks at 6:30 Pm was marked upto 800 bucks by 10 :30 P.M.So now you know how to get a good deal at a flea market . I scored some flavored tea and an incredible pair of swede shoes, though the flea markets shopping scene is quite a downer when it comes to the kind of things they were selling both in terms of quality and variety but who goes to Goa to shop anyways! The markets are beautifully lit up and are set up on the banks of this small water body ,head banged to some local Goan music played by a local band ,hung out by the food stalls .Quite an entertaining place to be.Thanks to all the vitamin D intake I’m still omitting heat and if I dig my pockets a wee bit deeper can find fistful of sand.
